Is your child feeling overwhelmed or anxious?
Many children experience stress in ways that aren’t always easy to express. It can show up as irritability, restlessness, difficulty focusing, or trouble falling asleep. This class offers simple, practical tools to help children calm their bodies and minds in a way that feels natural and accessible. They learn skills they can use both in and outside of class for self-cam and regulation.
What Your Child Will Experience:
- Release built-up tension and restlessness through gentle movement
- Learn simple breathing tools to manage stress and overwhelming moments
- Build awareness of their body and emotions, supporting calm, better sleep, and focus
How the Session Unfolds 👉🏻
-
1. Gentle arrival & check-in
Settling into the space
-
2. Slow, accessible movement
Release physical tension and discharge excess energy
-
3. Breathing practices
Focus on the breath and support emotional regulation
-
4. Guided meditation
Calm the nervous system, find stillness inside the body
This progression supports how children naturally calm down, starting with the body, then the breath, and finally the mind.
What to Prepare for Class:
- A mat or soft surface
- Comfortable clothing
- A quiet space to move and rest
Optional: a pillow or blanket for relaxation
Cameras can be on or off. Students are invited to check in with the camera on, then turn it off if that feels more comfortable.
Teaching Style and Environment
My teaching style is calm, supportive, and trauma-informed.
I encourage them to move at their own pace and offer choices throughout the class so each child can feel comfortable and in control of their experience.
- No pressure to “get it right” or perform 😊
- No prior experience needed 🌱
- A gentle, non-judgmental environment 🫶🏻
Cameras can be on or off—students are welcome to turn their camera off after checking in if that helps them feel more comfortable (though having it on can support engagement).
